As an avid photographer who is new to aerial photography, I am delighted with the DJI Mini 2. It is easy to fly--I even took it out over water on my first flight, although briefly and controlled in Cine mode. Super well built. I actually crashed it the first time and it didn't even budge. Strong yet super light. Can carry in backpack everywhere. Wish I could fly it more, but we've had a few cloudy and rainy days. I recommend for teens and older. Easy to use, but props are very fast. I was looking for a gift for my brother and this AOVO was the right one for him. He was watching tons of DJI drone videos but it was just too much for him as a fresh beginner. This AOVO drone has 4K video and similar smart features too. More importantly, it can last longer than other $1000 drones. 30+30 mins with two batteries. It comes with a handy carrying case. Overall, the setup and connection are fairly easy and stable. He is a fresh newbie but having tons of fun with this $200+ drone. The video is much better than expected.

The first thing I liked was the durable feel to it.
I really like that you can recharge the battery via USB BUT it does take about 5 hours per pack.
I get about 1 hour of flight time Total which I thought this was pretty awesome compared to my other drones!
I am near a suburb in New York so my range is limited to about 300 yards distance but at that range I cant see the drone which is why I love the auto return to home feature. The GPS mode works really well and is very accurate. A great way to protect your investment. I thought I had lost it at one point last week. I had no visual, no sound and the picture dropped out BUT, a minute later it showed up over my head. That was Awesome!!
The camera is extremely stable allowing for a crisp and vivid view. I have taken some incredible videos and images with this drone.
I was in 30 MPH gusts today and you would never know it as it hovered about 100 feet up. I decided not to tempt fate however and landed soon after.

So I usually fly a Magic Air or HS170 which are more sophisticated and therefore much more expensive drones. They both have GPS and a host of other features. When I first charged the batteries and popped one into the drone, I was able to fly it immediately and, given its small size, it was surprisingly unaffected by the trade wind breezes. I buzzed just above our dog and had so much fun letting him chase it all over the yard. But trying to set the trim and get it to hover was a bit frustrating. I fixated on trying to get it to hover motionless for en entire battery cycle (maybe 8-10 minutes) and basically got it where I wanted it. Why I bothered with that, I don't really know. Because the joy of this drone is just flying around. My wife and I laughed and gasped as we got too close to a tree and watched I tumble to the ground. Picked it up, turned it back on, and it was back in the air within seconds. All the money we spent on the other drones and this one made us smile more! The price point is low enough that that you don't have worry about crashing. But if (when) you do, this thing is tough enough to shake it off and get right back I the air. Get one of these - you won't be sorry!
My husband's birthday wish was to get a drone that had a camera and could hook up to his phone. To his surprise, that's exactly what he got. Not only was he thrilled to get his first drone but was also quite impressed with the quality of the deerc mini drone for such an unbeatable price. Let's be honest, they're quite expensive and hard to find good quality in cheap prices. But to our amazement this little thing is worth the price. It even came with protectors for the propellers plus an extra set of propellers in case anything happens. He read the entire manual which was simple and not made difficult to understand and it's already assembled when you get it. Also has two 10 minute batteries, giving you 20 minutes of fun!! He's only a beginner but he's definitely in love and said once he's ready to upgrade he'll be looking for another deerc's model. It took me some serious comparisons before i picked which one to buy but looks like i chose the perfect one! It says for kids but if you're a beginner adult. This is for you also.!!
This drone is a pretty easy setup and fun! The app was very nice and user friendly. It is quick and has some nice features, including a very nice camera especially for the price. I really enjoyed the maneuverability of the drone and really liked the flip feature. very cool.
One issue that i had was... The trim took me a bit to figure out since i have not had the chance to fly a drone that required this yet. The only reason why i say it was an issue is because even after i think i got it, it seamed to do its own thing here and there but i cant be sure it wasn't mostly the wind (small drone may not handle this well).
There are a few things that i have yet to play with but overall i would definitely recommend this drone to anyone!!!
