Couldn't imagine a better drone for someone with no experience. Super convenient to be able to store the little guy in the controller and it's just plain cute. I was flying this thing within 5 minutes of installing a freshly charged battery.

I fly several drones myself as an adult and I purchased this for my 6 year old great granddaughter. Once we received it based on SIZE and SPEED I hesitate saying 5 stars as a beginner because it takes some getting used to.. I knew it would take some time for her to actually get the hang of it so I spent extra time studying it myself. We ran into a little snag initially and contacted the seller. They responded very quickly in a positive fashion. Super supportive . Only one thing I'd point out to be prepared for....This little Bee is FASTER than an F-15 so get READY, it's gonna make your hair stand up. Good battery life and the controller is awesome!One of the fastest TOYS I've ever seen and a great seller.

After quite a few disappointing drone purchases, we were a bit hesitant to try buying another one, but we decided to give this little guy a chance. The reviews were good and the price was very reasonable. We added the service plan, which is ALWAYS a good idea when buying any kind of drone.
There was a bit of frustration and confusion upon opening the box, as it appeared to have only been a controller. After further inspection, we discovered that the controller doubles as storage for the drone, 3 battery packs, the charger, replacement blades, blade guards, and the smallest screwdriver I’ve ever seen! The controller itself was a bit difficult to use, however, the free app more than makes up for it by allowing you to draw out custom flight areas and control the drone with simple hand gestures, making it perfect for beginners and those with limited mobility. The on board camera records a clear picture and video stream for the entire flight. Unlike most drones and quadcopters, the 4DRC mini withstands more than one or two accidents involving trees and other hard surfaces. (Again, spending the extra $5 for the service plan is highly recommended for ANY drone purchase. It covers just about anything that can go wrong, and will replace the entire drone in most cases.)

If your looking for a good starter drone this is it, super easy to fly with excellent instructions. I won't say it's impossible to lose but they make it pretty hard if you follow the instructions.

Absolutely fantastic little drone! Other than the manual angle setup for the forward camera I would say its flawless. The 2.7k camera delivers amazing quality real time transmission directly to your phone and the GPS is better than my higher cost drone's(actually gets a signal INSIDE my house! ).it is very light so wind consumes all effort and battery times but that is to be expected obviously.love being able to switch between front and bottom cameras. My friend has dji mini and just loved this drone he ordered 1 as his primer b4 using his mini lol because each time his mini goes up his heart rate goes up fearing it would be lost along with his $$$.for this price, you get a seriously high quality yet no frills product!controller is top notch also.although small and lite the obvious build quality is easily noticeable when unfolding the arms,inserting the battery, and fitment of body.plan to another soon, just can't go wrong for this price.battery life was about 5 minutes +/-of what is claimed but considering the degree of wind and being silly it may be better and closer to the claimed times.only problem I have is fitting my larger phone into the holder,easy with my smaller one.cant go wrong with this little guy! Buy it.

Fun and easy drone for beginners!

It is a really great deal for a starter drone. The app interface communications needs a little tweaking but only complaint I can find 200’ ceiling is great for what I need and picture/ video is way better than what I was expecting. Great jod!

Loved this jammin little user friendly FUN Flying machine BEST starter drone I have ever played with ! And I’ve crashed and burned and tried to repair more starter drones than I care fo count. Kidomo really is the most drone for the money to learn, has the best service, and easy to fly.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He is 13. He loved it and told me it was fun to fly and easy to use.

Simply and easy to use

I bought this drone as a birthday gift for my 12 years old son. The setup instructions was easy to understand and he's having so much fun. Also it's easy to connect to his phone and records for videos. With 2k camera captures the picture and video quality are amazing. One more thing,my son loves the voice control and gravity control functions! Overall satisfied with the purchase would recommend!

It’s very easy to control, so that makes it a good drone for beginners. The camera leaves some to be desired, but I suppose beautiful photos of the horizon are not what this is meant for. Only other complaint is that even in light winds, the drone is very influenced so do proceed with caution in those conditions.

Otherwise I’d say you get a great value for your dollar here. If you’re new to piloting drones like me this is a great option. I’ve crashed this multiple times scuffing up the blades and what not; and still it operates just fine.

My son could not wait to get the batteries for the remote, so he just installed controllers unto his phone and away he went. Although, from my point of view it is advantageous to use its actual remote to get the hang of it speed and movements, then later you can switch to phone/tablet. very fast as well in speed. super cool.

The "feature" that impressed me literally right out of the box was the honest way this company asked for feedback, review, or offered assistance. There was no outward gimmick to entice you into writing a positive review. When a vendor does that you can just about guarantee the product is not going to be impressive. And true to form, this drone IS impressive and works very well, the setup was a breeze, pairing it was simple, the drone itself can take a nasty spill or three and keep working like new. They did not beg for a review and they did not offer a free prize for a review because they do not need to. The drone is worth every penny. You cannot beat the price.
One small thing, it is a bit of a stretch saying this is for a beginner, but i do not say that as a negative, the craft is advanced enough to do quite a lot of droning beyond the beginner level. I could DRONE on about it for ever, but i will leave it at that. With my funny joke, ummm yea well, the drone is better than my joke! I promise!

Great starter Drone for a 10 year old!!
Exactly what I was looking for.. it’s very durable , has been in nearly daily use for a month.. taking lots of crashes, and holding up very well ..
fun and easy to operate!! Soon he will be able to move up to more extensive models thanks to this drone.. perfect intermediate level for kids.
Decent picture Quality at this price and also works well with his Samsung galaxy.
My son has gotten hours of playtime in a day.. the battery recharges quickly.

I had one of the early DJI Phantom drones that was a pretty awesome machine but this little Sanrock which costs a fraction of the DJI has better wifi and a very adequate camera and frankly, it’s a bit hard to believe it has this much technology for such a great price. It doesn’t have GPS hold or things like that but it’s pretty simple to fly and control regardless. Just stay out of the wind because it’s light enough not to need FAA registration. And remember, the higher you fly it, the more likely the wind will be stronger. I’ve not tested the limits yet and will probably stay pretty conservative in flying it so not to lose it.

It was smaller than I expected, but it certainly did its job. This was my first drone, and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to operate it. The drone seemed sturdy (couple of rough landings did seem ruin it). flight was stable and smooth. The camera was pretty clear. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase, especially with that price.

I had zero experience with flying drones before this purchase. I imagined it’d be hard to figure out the controls and would take some time before I could really hone my skills. Surprisingly, I didn’t have to wait very long before I was able to fly the drone well enough that I was able to get some great overhead shots of my kids playing baseball and the shoreline at the beach. I really like having the ability to use either the remote or my phone to fly the drone. Both are easy to use and come packed with enough features that it makes flying a breeze! The packing is also great because it makes it extremely portable and I can pack it in my backpack when I’m riding the hills on my mountain bike and allows me to get some really cool shots of the trails I ride.

I purchased this for my son 10 yrs birthday and he enjoyed, easy use and awesome feature. Its has very clear video and pictures HD. Its very stable flying as 10yers kid can control it. I paired iPhone to enjoy more i did some pictures and videos. It has one minor issue the camera control bottom up and down its functioning but the direction sign on bottom is opposite ( i mean up make camera move down , and down move camera up) . I dont see this a big a problem. Thats why I gave five star.

The HS260 is a small, lightweight, and comes in a compact travel case. Very easy to set up, quick to pair, and no spinning the drone in circles to calibrate, nice. The batteries last 15 minutes each. The drone is very stable to fly up to mild winds. The controls are easy to use, and the drone responds quickly. The camera takes quality pictures, the lens can move up/down, and the video recording works well. You can control the drone from the included remote or use the phone screen controls, which work well. All of the features work as described. For under $100, this drone comes loaded with many features and a nice travel case; excellent job, Holy Stone.

This is a very good company. I let the boys take it for flights right away in a small room. It was a blast but we lost a blade protector. Completely my over indulgent father fault and I sent them a question about buying spare parts. No question they sent spare parts. I would definitely recommend this company and product.
